Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific women's tennis team defeated Eastern Washington 7-0 at the Hal Nelson Tennis Courts on Tuesday, March 25. The Tigers improved to 7-8 overall, while the Eagles dropped to 3-12.
"I'm proud of the energy and spirit that was brought today and think this was exactly the kind of match we needed before heading into conference play," said Head Coach Charlotte Scatliffe. "We were able to work on some things in a match situation in preparation for Portland and Gonzaga this weekend."
The Tigers won all nine matchups, including straight sets in five of the six singles matches.
Pacific is next in action with a home match at the Hal Nelson Tennis Courts on Saturday, March 29, against Gonzaga at 10:00 a.m.
