Honolulu, Hawai'i - The Pacific women's tennis team earned a 4-3 decision over Grand Canyon on Wednesday, March 12. The Tigers improved to 6-5 overall, while the Antelopes dropped to 6-4.
"We got the job done today and I was thrilled for Iveta to clinch the match for us playing all out aggressive tennis," said Pacific Head Coach Charlotte Scatliffe.
Iveta Masarova rallied from a 6-0 first set to win 7-5 and 6-2 over Priscilla Annoual to clinch the match for the Tigers. Hana Ritterova and Francis Dean also won at singles and Pacific won two of three doubles matches to take the point.
Pacific is next in action with a match at Hawai'i on Thursday, March 13.
