Tigers Head To Oakland For Mills Invite

Stockton, Calif. - Pacific Cross Country will head to Oakland, Calif. for the Mills Invitational event on Saturday morning at 10am. The event will serve as a chance for some of Pacific's runners to train on a course known for its rigorous hills.

Four runners, sophomores Jessica Guerra and Dale Dong (Stockton, Calif.), junior Micaela Todd (Mill Creek, Wash.) and senior Cassidi Rush (Gilbert, Ariz.) will compete in the event. Last year, sophomore Lindsay Wourms (Camas, Wash.) posted a 25:15 at the Mills event, good for second place overall. Pacific finished third in the team competition.

The Tigers will be off next weekend and be back on the course on October 4th in Sacramento for the West Regional Preview event.
