SACRAMENTO – The Pacific cross country program put a bow on its 2025 campaign, completing the season Friday morning at the NCAA West Regional, hosted by Sacramento State at Haggin Oaks Golf Course.
The Tigers' women's team secured 27th place of the 39-team field in the 6k, marking the program's second-highest finish in school history since 2000 when Pacific earned 26th place as a member of the Big West Conference. The Tigers were the seventh highest West Coast Conference school to complete the race, defeating LMU, Saint Mary's, San Diego, Seattle and Pepperdine in the process.
In its inaugural appearance in the NCAA West Regional, the men notched 27th place out of the 30-team field in the 10k. The Tigers finished ahead of WCC schools Seattle and San Diego in that race.
"I was really pleased with the way the women approached the race," Pacific head coach Isaac Wood said. "They followed the race plan and ran for each other. It feels great to end the season on a high note and we're looking forward to continually progressing the program and finishing better and better every year."

Angelina Lione paced Pacific in the NCAA West Regional, recording a time of 20:55.5, which is her second fastest 6k this season.

Valeria Espinoza were the next four finishers for the Tigers in that order, all clocking in their 6ks with sub-23 minute times.
On the men's side, junior
Samuel Lanham represented the first Tiger to cross the finish line, completing the 10k with a time of 31:48.2. Sophomore
Kohl Sanders was behind Lanham with a time of 32:15.1.
Stanford collected first place in the women's race while Oregon won the men's race.
