Pacific Cross Country Opens 2013 Season At USF Invite

Stockton, Calif. –   The Pacific Cross Country team is poised to have their best season on record in 2013. Pacific's quest for excellence will open on Saturday at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco as they participate in the USF Invite. This event is familiar to many members of the Tigers, in contrast to 2012, when the event served as the first career race for 10 runners.

Lindsay Wourms and Becky Grabow highlighted the Tigers USF Invite performance last year, with Wourms breaking the Pacific freshman record in the 5K and Grabow tying the mark.

This year, Coach Jones is expecting freshmen runners Myra Lakdawala and Megan Hall as well as junior transfer Sarah Bailey to run well in their first event as members of Pacific's Cross Country team.
