Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific women's tennis team picked up a 6-1 victory over UC Riverside on Friday, April 5. The Tigers are now 8-10 in the spring season, 3-3 in the Big West Conference and 4-3 at home.

The Tigers started the match strong against UC Riverside. The Tigers managed to secure the doubles point with ease after having won all three of the doubles events. With the win of the doubles point, Pacific felt confident going into their respective singles competitions.

In the singles competitions, the Tigers quickly settled in, aimed to win and took the action to turn their goals into reality. Pacific posted victories in five of the six singles events to bring the final match count to 6-1 for the match in favor of the Tigers. Also, all of the victories for the Tigers were accomplished in straight sets.
