Biography
2016-17 (Red Shirt Senior):
In her final season, Christiana competed in eight contests finishing with an overall record of 1-3 in singles with four of her matches going unfinished. In doubles, she split time between No. 2 and No. 3 doubles and concluded her season with a 1-5 record.
2015-16 (Senior):
Did not play due to injury.
2014-15 (Junior):
Christiana finished the season 11-20 in singles play, and 2-10 in doubles play. Ferrari played most at No. 2 with either partner Gergana Boncheva or Francis Dean.
2013-14 (Sophomore):
In her sophomore season, Christiana finished with an 8-16 overall singles record and 9-14 in doubles. She played in all spots from No. 3 to No. 6, playing most of her matches at No. 3 and No. 5. On the doubles side, she teamed mostly with Francis Dean, compiling a record of 7-4. They started at No. 3 doubles but worked up to No. 2 for the final month of the season.
2012-13 (Freshman):
Christiana had a very nice first year with the Tigers, winning 15 singles and four doubles matches on the year. She played in all 23 dual matches for Pacific in 2012-13. She started the year at the No. 4 spot for the Tigers, but down the stretch she moved up to the No. 3 slot. Her final three wins of the year were all of the straight set variety, picking up wins over Nevada, Cal State Fullerton and UC Riverside. In the fall, Christiana picked up six victories during the tournament season.
High School:
Christiana graduated from St. Mary''s High School, in 2012. She had overall high school record of 73-4 and was named Team MVP three times. Christiana led her team to four straight league championships and two section final appearances. She was a two-time section singles champion and two-time section singles finalist...Named the Stockton Record''s Area Player of the Year in each of her four seasons. She was twice named the Record''s Athlete of the Week. Ferrari was named the Stockton Athletic Hall of Fame Association athlete of the month and was a finalist for the prestigious Charles Washington Award, which recognizes the top high school senior student-athlete who has also helped the community. She finished her high school year as a four-star recruit according to TennisRecruiting.com. Christiana was ranked as high as No. 50 in the website''s national rankings and No. 12 in California state rankings.
Personal:
Christiana was born and raised in Stockton, California. She is the daughter of Larry and Joni Ferrari and has two older brothers Nicholaus and Jonathon. Christiana is a business major and aspires to own her own clothing store. In her spare time she enjoys baking, shopping and traveling.
