The Pacific men's basketball team will play three games in three days at the Global Sports Hardwood Classic, hosted by Oregon on November 29-30 and December 1. The Tigers play No. 14 Oregon on Friday at 12:00 p.m., Cal Poly on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and North Dakota on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
Pacific is 4-0 after an 86-77 home win over Fresno State on Nov. 23. The Tigers hit 58% of their second half shots and pulled away in the middle of the second half. Senior Andrew Bock scored a career-high 19 points, including 12-12 from the free throw line. Senior Khalil Kelley added a career-high 16 points while grabbing a season-best 12 rebounds for his first double-double of the year. Senior Sama Taku added 16 points, while Tony Gill scored 12 points to go along with three steals. Taku leads the Tigers overall with 16.3 points per game.
Oregon is 4-0 on the season, after a 100-82 win over San Francisco on Sunday. Joseph Young leads the Ducks with 23.0 points per game. Pacific trails the all-time series with Oregon 6-2. The last four games in the series have all been in Eugene, with the Ducks holding a 3-1 edge. Oregon won the last meeting on Nov. 11, 2007 as part of the World Vision Invitational.
