The Tiger men's basketball team opens its Big West Conference home schedule with a pair of games this week. Pacific will face UC Santa Barbara on Thursday, Jan. 10 at 7:00 p.m. The Tigers then return to the Spanos Center for Blackout Night, where all fans are encouraged to wear black at the game against Cal Poly on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m.

Pacific is 7-7 on the season after a 74-64 win at UC Davis last Saturday. Junior Sama Taku scored 20 points and grabbed a career-high eight rebounds in the game. Senior Lorenzo McCloud leads the Tigers with 11.8 points per game and 50 assists. Taku leads the team with 4.1 rebounds per game. Junior Ross Rivera is second on the team with 9.6 points game.

UC Santa Barbara is 5-9 on the year and 1-2 in Big West play after a 77-70 loss to Long Beach State on Saturday. Alan Williams leads the Gauchos in scoring and rebounding with 17.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.

Cal Poly is 7-6 on the year and 3-0 in Big West action.  Chris Eversley leads the Mustangs in scoring and rebounding with 15.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per game
