Final Results
San Luis Obispo, Calif. - For the first time in school history the Pacific women's cross country team defeated a Big West opponent as the Tigers finished in eighth place at the Big West Championships on Saturday, Oct. 27.
Pacific's eighth place finish with 258 team points gave the Tigers their first finish above a Big West opponent in school history as the Tigers bested Cal State Northridge by 14.
Juniors Micaela Klaus (Peru, NY) and Meghan Mullen (South San Francisco, Calif.) got the Tigers off to a fast start as the duo placed 41st and 43rd respectively in the meet. Klaus finished the 6K event with a time of 24:03.6, while Mullen posted a time of 24:13.8.
The team will conclude the 2007 season on Saturday, Nov. 10 as the Tigers compete in the NCAA West Regional Championships in Eugene, Ore.
