Senior Krzysztof Zoldak Claims the 400 IM as Tigers Sit in Second After Day One of Pacific Invitational

Roseville, Calif. - Senior Krzysztof Zoldak (Oswiecim, Poland) claimed the 400 IM as Pacific is currently in second place after one day of action at the TYR / Pacific Invitational on Friday, Oct. 19.

California leads the Invitational with 604.50 points, while Pacific has 390.50 points.

Zoldak posted a final time of 3:58.66 to finish just under nine seconds ahead of his closest competition.

Unfortunately for Pacific, Zoldak was the only Tiger to claim a first place finish. One Tiger did earn a second place nod as freshman Aljaz Ojstersek (Kvanj, Slovenia) finished second in the 1650 Free with a time of 16:14.34.

The Tigers and the rest of the TYR / Pacific Invitational return to the pool tomorrow as the tournament resumes on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 12 p.m.
