Tigers Finish Season at NCAA West Region Meet

Fairview, Ore. - The Pacific cross country team finished their 2006 season at the NCAA Regional Meet held at Blue Lake Park in Fairview, Ore. on Nov. 11. The Tigers finished in twenty-ninth place overall and were lead by sophomore Micaela Klaus (Peru, NY) who covered the 6K course in a time of 24:48.

Stanford University won the team competition and Arianna Lambie of Stanford won the event with a time of 20:58.

Klaus finished in 157th place for the Tigers, while sophomore Meghan Mullen (South San Francisco, Calif.) finished with a time of 25:21 in 171st place.

Also competing for the Tigers were Junior Francesca Au (Concord, Calif.) who finished in 186th place with a time of 26:25, freshman Maria Elena Ramirez Espinosa (Sacramento, Calif.) who finished in 195th place with a time of 28:45, and sophomore Rachel Ponce (Bakersfield, Calif.) who finished in 198th place with a time of 29:28
