Men's Swimming Falls to Cal in Opener

Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific men's swimming team fell to Cal, 143-108 in their season opener on Oct. 13. The dual meet was held at Chris Kjeldsen Pool on the campus of University of the Pacific.

Winning events for the Tigers were juniors David Dunn (Morgan Hill, Calif.) and Krzysztof Zoldak (Oswiecim, Poland) and sophomore Stephen Quinn (Livermore, Calif.).

Dunn placed first in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:08.86, Zoldak won the 200 IM with a time of 1:51.21, and Quinn won the 500 Free with a time of 4:43.40.

The Tigers will be back in action next Friday and Saturday, Oct. 20-21 when they will compete in the Pacific Invitational. Friday's action will start at 2:00 PM and Saturday's events will start at 12:00 PM.
