Pacific Falls At No. 8 California, 3-0

Berkeley, Calif. - The Pacific women's soccer team fell for just the second time in 2005, dropping a 3-0 decision at No. 8 Cal on Wednesday, September 14. With the loss the Tigers fell to 4-2-1 overall while the Golden Bears remained unbeaten at 6-0-1.

Playing a top-10 team for the second time in four games, the Tigers were unable to crack the Golden Bears defense failing to score for just the second time this season. On the night Pacific was outshot just 12-to-7 by Cal, but no Tiger was able to muster more than one recorded shot.

The Tigers relinquished three goals to the Bears in the first half, giving up the eventual game-winning goal in the 15th minute of the match to Dania Cabello. The Bears added two more within the next 15 minutes as Lindsay Clute notched both of the Bears' final two goals.

Pacific will next be in action on Friday night, September 16 as they play host to the Brown University Bears. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
