STOCKTON, Calif. -- University of the Pacific Women's Basketball 2005-06 recruit Sara Head (Keller, Texas), will be playing in the Texas Girls Coaches Association 49th Annual North-South All-Star game on Thursday, July 14. Head has also been selected as one of 12 players from Texas to participate in the Texas/Oklahoma All-Star game on Saturday, July 23.

Head, a 6-2 post player from Keller, Texas, is currently a senior at Keller High School.In two of the past three seasons, Head has helped her team reach 20 wins as she has led Keller HS in points and rebounds in 2002-03 and 2003-04. Head finished each of the last two seasons averaging a double-double as in 2002-03 she averaged 13.1 points and 10.7 rebounds per game, while in 2003-04 she posted 10.4 points and 11.4 rebounds per contest. As a sophomore, Head was named to the 5-5A All-District Second Team. Last season she earned 5-5A All District First Team honors.

In the 49th Annual Texas North/South All-Star Game, Head was selected to the North 4A-5A All-Stars Team.
