Riverside, Calif. - The Pacific women's cross country team completed the Big West Championships at UC Riverside in eighth place on Saturday, October 29. UC Irvine took home the team championship while Amber Stern of UC Irvine claimed the individual title.

Sophomore Ainsley Cray (Rhinelander, Wisc.) paced the Tigers throughout the 6k race, finishing the run in 52nd place with a time of 23:54.5. Finishing second for the Tigers was junior Jill Himlan (Santa Cruz, Calif.) who finished two spots back with a time of 23:58.8.

As a team, the Tigers finished the race with a combined time of 2:02:13.20 while averaging 24:26.64 per runner.
