Coach Reeves on the Match:
"The result is disappointing. I think we are a little bit tired, but I am not making any excuses. Almost 100% of the stats will be in our favor, except for the most important one. I told our guys a few weeks back there will be a game or two where goals are going to dry up. We have got to be better at defensive moments. We have not had a shutout, yet this season. Ultimately, we need to clean up those gritty moments so we can get a shutout. I told the guys at the end of the game, tonight that they did everything. They just were not as sharp in the final third, a little too much dribbling and too individualistic for who we want to be. I hope that this puts a little fire in them and we can rebound on Sunday."
Post-Game Notes
• In both losses, Pacific has been kept off the scoreboard in the first 45 minutes.
• Pacific has had double-digit shots in its last four games, including an 11-shot effort against the Hornets.
• With two shots against Sacramento State,
Yazid Omri became the third Tiger to have multiple shots on goal in a game in 2021.
