Biography

2015 (Senior):
Carter played in 25 of the Tigers'' 26 games in 2015, posting two goals and chipping in five assists. Recorded four steals on the defense end. Picked up goals against Cal Sate Monterey Bay on January 18, and another against #11 UC San Diego on February 15.

2014 (Junior):
Carter appeared in 31 games and scored 11 goals for Pacific. She also tallied 19 assists, third on the team, while chipping in 11 steals on the defensive end. Carter posted two goals in games against Brown (Feb. 1), Siena (March 15) and Azusa Pacific (March 22).

2013 (Sophomore):
Carter saw time in all 32 of Pacific''s games in her second season, notching nine goals. Her season high two scores came versus CSU Bakersfield (Jan. 27). She also recorded 15 assists, good for sixth on the team, to go along with 10 steals and three drawn ejections. 

2012 (Freshman):
Assuming the role of Pacific’s two-meter defender from the outset, Carter started all 29 of the Tigers’ matches as a freshman. She tallied nine goals including a pair of two-score outings. Adjusting to the physicality of the college game, she was ejected six times on the year, all of which came in the first half of the season. Carter was responsible for 23 thefts to go along with 12 assists, nine drawn ejections and five field blocks. She registered a career-high four steals in Pacific’s win over Fresno Pacific on Feb. 11, and went for three steals against Santa Clara on Apr. 21.

High School:
Carter graduated from Eric Hamber Secondary School in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Academically, she was a member of her school''s Honor Roll.

Club:
Carter had a very successful career as a member of the Pacific Storm Club. Most recently, she led her U-18 team to a sixth-place finish in the 2011 Canadian Women''s National Tournament. Carter was named her team''s MVP that same year. In 2010, Carter was part of a U-18 squad that took third in the national tournament, as well as a U-22 team that finished fifth. She garnered the Most Improved award at the conclusion of that season. As a member of Pacific Storm''s U-16 team, Carter helped her squad place sixth at the national tournament in 2009 and third in 2008.

Personal:
Carter was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and is the daughter of Deirdre and John Carter. She has two siblings, Jason and Brianne. Jason played water polo for the University of Western Ontario and was a member of Ontario''s All-Star Team in 2011. Carter enjoys cooking in her free time and will pursue a degree in business administration.
