University of the Pacific

Sydney Shelton joined Pacific in 2017 as the 2017-18 Director of Water Polo Operations for both the men's and women's programs before taking on a facilities role in the fall of 2018. She has served as UOP's Director of Athletic Facilities and Operations since 2019. 

In her role, Shelton manages the daily operations of all athletic facilities to ensure safety, code, compliance and cleanliness; manages the inventory of facilities equipment and facility specific assets; is responsible for scheduling of events for all facilities and space management for events; and more. She is also the event manager for all varsity sporting events in addition to all internal and external rentals. 

Shelton graduated from the University of Virginia in 2015 and earned a master's in Educational Leadership from Lynchburg University in 2017, where she worked for two years as an assistant volleyball coach.
