Biography

2015 (Senior):
Golden Coast Conference Co-Player of the Year and First Team All-GCC selection, Kertes led Pacific with 48 goals on the season. She scored in 22 of 26 games, including 14 multi-goal games. Turned in a season-best five goals twice: in a win against #16 Indiana (March 14), and in the GCC Third Place Game, leading the Tigers to a win over Cal Baptist (April 25). Added four goals in a 7-6 win over Michigan (Feb. 22) and a victory over Fresno Pacific (April 11). Turned in hat tricks in wins over #18 UC Santa Barabra (Feb. 22), Azusa Pacific (March 21) and Cal Baptist (April 17). In addition to her 48 goals, she led the Tigers with 54 assists, giving her a hand in 102 of the Tigers'' 207 goals on the year (49%). On the defensive end, Kertes chipped in 17 steals.

2014 (Junior at Arizona State):
Scored 31 goals, including three goals and two assists against Marist. She also scored three goals against Stanford in the UCI tournament. Averaged 1.11 goals per game on the year, and with a total of 21 steals, Kertes was one of three Sun Devils with more than 20 steals.

2013 (Sophomore at Arizona State):
Ended the season with 54 points, following her freshman performance of 59 points. Saw action in all but three games throughout the season. Doubled her assist totals from her first season, posting 28 on the season compared to 12 in 2012.

2012 (Freshman at Arizona State):
Rounded out the All-MPSF honors as she was named to the All-Newcomer team. Found the back of the net 47 times on the season, tied for second among conference freshmen and matching Shannon Haas for second on ASU''s all-time freshmen goals list. Her 59 points on the season moved her into second among ASU freshmen in history and she was also the team''s top sprinter and won more sprints the she lost on the season. Rounded out the Outstanding selections with a 3.76 GPA as an exploratory major. Racked up 12 assists for 59 points to go with 16 steals.

High School:

A 2010 graduate from Basanyi Janos High School in Csongrad, Hungary. Seven-time recipient of the Good Student, Good Athlete award from 2000-2004 and 2008-09. Was a member of the Hungarian Youth Champion team in 2008. Placed second at the European Youth and Junior Water Polo Championships as part of the Hungarian Junior National team. Won the gold medal with her junior squad at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival. Captained her team at the European Water Polo Youth Championships in 2008.

Personal:
The Psychology major was born in Szentes, Hungary, the daughter of Gyula Kertes and Ma''rta Radva''nszki.
