2025 (Senior)
Earned All-Conference Honorable Mention after tallying 33 goals, 28 assists and 61 points for the Tigers… notched hat tricks against LMU and Azusa Pacific… recorded 12 multi-goal performances… scored at least one goal in each of the last seven games of the year… scored three goals on three shots at LMU, a team that went on to win the league… dished out at least two assists in seven games including three in each of the final three games of the year… distributed five assists to go along with two goals in a conference win against Concordia… grabbed 28 steals including a season-high five against Marist… drew 23 exclusions, the second most on the team
2024 (Junior)
Notched 39 points on 17 goals and 22 assists. Second on the team with 27 steals and third with 14 drawn exclusions. Posted career-high five points on two goals and three assists against Cal State Monterey Bay (Feb. 18). Matched career-high three steals for the third time at Cal State East Bay (Mar. 14). Recorded career-high three assists three times against Biola (Feb. 4), Cal State Monterey Bay (Feb. 18) and California Baptist (Apr. 6).
2023 (Sophomore)
Recorded her first multi-goal game with three goals against Fresno Pacific in a 24-8 win. She showcased a season-high of four goals against Occidental on February 19 and had a shot efficiency of 100% in four games this season while having a total goal percentage of 38.9. McGowan has a total of 12 steals this season.
2022 (Freshman)
Earned GCC All-Academic honors. Played in 24 games, recording five goals, two assists and eight steals. Tallied a season-high three goals, one assist, and three steals in a win against Redlands on March 20.Â
High School
Attended Flower Mound High School. Earned honorable mention All-Region Water Polo freshman year. As a sophomore, was recognized as Texas First-Team All-State Water Polo, First-Team All-Region Water Polo, All-American Fifth Team Water Polo and district roster for swim team (Backstroke). In her junior year, earned Texas Offensive Player of the Week, All-American Water Polo and Academic All-America. As a senior, earned First-Team All-American Water Polo, Academic All-American Water Polo, North Region MVP Water Polo and Texas State Water Polo MVP (Women). Consistently led region with highest number of goals scored and won the Kyle Tilley Scholarship. Team captain for both water polo and swim team in her senior year (2020-21) and led the Flower Mound High School team to an undefeated season, winning the state championship in 2021.
Personal
Daughter of Katherine Wells & Cleon Haynes. Sister of Emmerson McGowan. Enjoys photography and travel. Moved to Spain her sophomore year, took a semester of high school classes and played water polo for Barcelona International Water Polo Academy. McGowan is majoring in health and exercise science.
