Schwarz played at Mater Dei High School where she was named the team's Defensive and Team Most Valuable Player. As a senior, she was selected MVP after leading the Monarchs to the Trinity League title. Mater Dei went on to finish in the second round of the CIF Open Division tournament. Schwarz set a career high in saves with 22 against No. 1 Santa Margarita Catholic in her senior season. When not playing for Mater Dei, she was playing for her club team Slammers FC. Schwarz led the team to the ECNL Southwest title and the quarterfinals of the ECNL National Tournament in 2023.
