Biography

2014 (Junior):
The Tigers'' starting defensive specialist in 2014, Feiner was one of just three Tigers to play in all 31 matches for the Tigers while starting 29 contests. Making the most of her time in the back row, Feiner came up with 247 digs as she averaged 2.29 digs per set. In addition to her defense, Mia was called upon to serve for the Tigers as she came up with 25 aces on the year, second most among all Pacific servers. For the year, she led the Tigers in aces six times while leading the team in digs on one occasion as she posted a season-best 14 against Portland on Oct. 18. Off the court, Feiner earned WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention honors for her work in the classroom for the second-straight season.

2013 (Sophomore):
Mia spent time as both the Tigers'' libero and as a defensive specialist. She saw action as the starting libero for the first 15 matches of the season before transitioning to her defensive specialist role. She was one of just three Tigers to play in all 112 sets on the year as she finished the year with 248 digs for a 2.21 digs per set average. She led the team in digs in five matches and posted a season-best 16 digs at Portland State on Sept. 7. At the conclusion of the season, Feiner earned her first WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention honor in her first season of eligibility.

2012 (Freshman):
Jumping immediately into Pacific''s rotation as a defensive specialist, Mia produced 263 digs and a 2.16 dig per set average while playing three rotations in the back row for the Tigers. Throughout the season Feiner produced nine matches of 10+ digs including posting a season-best 21 digs against Iowa on Sept. 14. Twice throughout the season Mia posted the top mark in digs for the Tigers in a match as she led the way in back-to-back matches against Long Beach State and Cal Poly, both times tallying 12 digs. In addition to her defense, Mia posted 22 assists and 11 service aces in her first year of collegiate volleyball.

High School/Club:
A two-time Defensive MVP for the Tritons in both 2010 and 2011, Feiner helped guide her team to two-straight South Coast League championships, a pair in a string of four the Tritons won over her four years at San Clemente HS. In addition to taking home the league title in each of her final two seasons, the Tritons finished among the top teams in California during the CIF playoffs as San Clemente advanced to the quarterfinals in both 2010 and 2011. A 2011 First Team All-CIF libero as a senior, Feiner produced one of her best seasons on the court for the Tritons as she led the team with 236 digs while averaging 3.4 per game.  At the club level, Feiner played for the T-Street VBC and qualified for the Junior Olympics in both 2011 and 2012. Additionally, Mia is an accomplished beach volleyball player earning a AA Beach Rating in 2010.

Personal:
Mia Feiner is from San Clemente, Calif. and is the daughter of Ray Feiner and Ann and Kevin Beard. She has three siblings, Rachel, Zak and Kian. Mia is pursuing a degree in communication.
