Previous School (Cal Poly Pomona):
As a freshman with the Broncos, Megan played in 18 matches and made four starts while she played in 11 matches as a sophomore in 2014. In 2013, Byrne totaled 8.5 points against Seattle Pacific, totaling five kills while adding three digs and a block assist. One day later, she matched that kill total while committing zero attack errors for a season-best hitting percentage of .556. She put together a stellar defensive effort on Oct. 12 at San Francisco State, where she tallied seven digs. Additionally, Megan excelled in the classroom, earning a spot on the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) All-Academic Team.

High School:
A 2013 graduate of Saint Mary''s High School just down the road from Pacific, Byrne was a three-time varsity letterwinner for the Rams. Over three seasons, Byrne helped the team to undefeated seasons in league play through 2010, 2011 and 2012 while guiding the team to a CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Championship in 2010. In her last high school match, she recorded a career-high 23 kills. She excelled in the classroom as well, maintaining a grade point average above 3.50 through all four years of high school.

Personal:
Megan Byrne is the daughter of Leslie and David Byrne. She has an older brother, Michael. She is currently majoring in business administration.
