University of the Pacific

High School/Club:
A 2011 graduate of Northgate HS, Hagen was a multi-sport athlete as she played basketball, volleyball and swam for the Broncos.  A standout in both volleyball and swimming, Maddie was named a high school all-american in the freestyle relay as a freshman while earning three all-league honors in volleyball in the Diablo Valley Athletics League (DVAL).  As a junior, Hagen led the Broncos to a DVAL championship after posting an 11-1 league record to go along with a 28-11 overall mark and was named the team''s MVP at the end of the season.  Outside of school, Maddie has been a member of the prestigious NorCal Volleyball Club out of Pleasanton, Calif.

Personal:
Madelynn Hagen was born in Concord, Calif. and is the daughter of Susan and Drew Hagen.  She has one younger brother, Blair.  A Tiger from birth, Maddie''s parents are both graduates of Pacific.  In her first year at Pacific, Hagen plans to major in sport science with an emphasis in sport medicine.
