Biography

2012 (Junior):
Playing for the first time in the Orange and Black, Emily saw action in 38 sets throughout the year. Playing as both a defensive specialist and a serving specialist, Reber tallied 44 digs and five aces while playing three rotations for the Tigers late in the year. Overall, Emily posted a pair of matches with double-digit digs as the junior tallied 11 digs against Cal State Northridge and a season-best 12 against No. 8 Hawai''i in back-to-back matches.

Previous School (Drake):
After two seasons at Drake, Emily transfered to Pacific in the Spring of 2012. Prior to transferring, Reber saw limited action as a defensive specialist for the Bulldogs. In 2010, Emily played in six matches and totaled three assists, three digs and three service aces on the season. As a sophomore, she played in two matches and recorded a pair of digs.

High School/Club:
A four-year varsity letterwinner at Carmel High School, Emily helped lead her team to three sectional championships and a regional championship.  As a freshman, Emily began her playing career as the Greyhounds setter before finding her niche defensively as a defensive specialist and Libero as a sophomore.  After moving to a purely defensive role, Emily set school record for digs in a career and digs in a season. 

Personal:
Emily Reber is from Rancho Mirage, Calif. and is the daughter of Debbie and Dennis Reber.  She has two older brother, Dennis and Peter. In her first year at Pacific Emily is majoring in history.
