Aven Lee enters her fourth season on the bench for Pacific afterjoining the program in the spring of 2009.
Lee’s responsibilities include travel, academics,admissions, eligibility & compliance, outreach & communityservice, recruiting, match scouting, tournament & pre-seasoncoordinating.
Lee came to Pacific after spending nine years coaching out ofHawaii at the junior national and high school levels.
Over the years, Aven has continued to be involved in the USAVolleyball High Performance pipeline, coaching over the years fordifferent USA teams and camps including the Women’s NationalA2 Team, the Junior National A2 Team, the Select A1 team and otherdevelopment camps.
Before leaving Hawaii, Lee was the Assistant Coach at Iolani PrepSchool in Honolulu, Hawaii. During the four seasons Leecoached for Iolani, the Raiders were ranked as one of the top-3teams in the state throughout those four years.
Lee also spent two seasons as the Head Coach for the KalaniFalcons out of Honolulu, Hawaii. In those two years, theFalcons were named the OIA Champions, finished No. 3 in theState of Hawaii and Lee earned the title as the OahuInterscholastic Association Coach of the Year.
Before her coaching career began, Lee was a Rainbow Wahine forDave Shoji and (former Pacific Head Coach) Charlie Wade at theUniversity of Hawaii from 1996-2000. Aven was adefensive-specialist/Outside Hitter for the Rainbow Wahine. During those years, the Rainbow Wahine had two Final Fourappearance and finished the 1996 season as No. 2 in theNation.
