Biography
2017-18 (Sophomore):
Popescu partnered with Maayan Sela and Anneroos Nederstigt throughout the season in doubles, finishing 2-6. In singles, Popescu went 5-4 with her best matches in No. 4 singles, going 4-1 on the season. Popescu clinched the match against UT-Arlington on Mar. 19, claiming the last two sets, 6-4 and 7-5. Popescu earned WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention honors.
2016-17 (Freshman):
Popescu was a mid-year transfer for the Tigers and was not yet eligible to compete in matches.
