University of the Pacific

Christina Brekelmans has served as an Assistant Director of Athletic Training at Pacific since August of 2015, working with UOP's women's soccer, women's water polo and men's and women's swimming programs. 

Outside of Pacific, her clinical experience has included work at Cal Baptist University, UC Riverside and the University of Redlands.

She has presented twice each at the Far West Athletic Trainers' Association and CBU Allied Health Symposium, focusing on a case study of chronic patellar tendinopathy and aerobics capacity in male college athletes. 

In addition to her BOC certification, Brekelmans is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and is American Red Cross CPR, AED for Pro Rescuers and First Aid certified. 

Brekelmans obtained her Bachelor's in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health and Human Performance from Saint Mary's College in 2009 before completing a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training and a BOC certification from Cal Baptist University in 2015.
