2016 (Freshman):
In her first season donning the Orange and Black, Bjerklund appeared in 12 games (one start). She logged one shot on the year against Fresno State (Sep. 9).

High School:
Bjerklund was the first official signee for Scroope, who was hired in late February to run the Tigers program.

Hedda Smedheim Bjerklund is from Fjerdingby, Norway and graduated from Rælingen vidregående skole. She played her second season for Grei Kvinner Elite in first division in 2015-16 in Norway. Previous she played for LSK Kvinner (2014) where she helped her team earn 3^rd place in division two and win a silver in the under-19 Dana Cup. In 2013 she played in Borgen IL and helped the team move up from the 3^rd division to the 2^nd division. She also participated in and won the Region indoor soccer tournament for women. Hedda also played for Ullensaker Kisa''s U16 boys team and Ullensaker Kisa girls team from 2005 to 2012.

Personal: 
Her full name is Hedda Smedheim Bjerklund. She is the daughter of Inge Bjerklund and Trude Smedheim. Hedda has two older sisters, Marte and Ida, and a younger brother, Herman. She is majoring in psychology. Her father, Inge, was a member of the Norwegian Youth National Soccer Team and the Lillestrom SK from 1984-86.
