Carmen Padilla

Carmen Padilla enters her 13th season of work with Pacific in 2019, and her 11th full season as the Tigers' assistant coach. She moved to the sidelines as a volunteer assistant coach in 2007-08, after a stellar career on the field for the Tigers from 2003-06. She serves in all areas of the program and helps coordinate the team’s community outreach.

Padilla brings her international experience with her to the sidelines as she has spent the eight years playing with the U20 and full Mexican National team from 2000-08. As a Tiger, Carmen finished her four years at Pacific as a four-time All-Big West recipient, a three-time first team member, and a 2006 NSCAA All-American Academic Team honoree. Carmen scored 20 career goals over four seasons, placing her into a tie for No. 4 all-time on the Tigers' scoring list. In addition to her scoring, Carmen setup 14 scores for her teammates, tying her for No. 6 all-time in assists in program history. With 54 career points, Carmen finished her career at Pacific at No. 4 in the Tigers' record books.

Padilla graduated from Pacific in May of 2007 with a degree in business and received her MA in Sport Management in 2015.

She resides in Stockton with her husband, Alex, daughters, Alessandra and Victoria, and son Alex Jr.Â
