Amanda Leland

Amanda Leland spent eight-plus seasons with the Tigers as Director of Women’s Basketball Operations. Leland oversaw the day-to-day operations for the women's basketball program. She was responsible for all aspects of team travel including itinerary, airline reservations, ground transportation, hotel accommodations and meal planning. Sha also coordinated the program's donor relations and booster club which also includes fundraising events such as the Tip-Off Dinner, Alumni and Family Night and Senior Celebration. Leland served as the tournament director for the annual Tiger Turkey Tip-Off. 

Leland joined Pacific from the Kansas, where she worked with the Jayhawks women's basketball program as an assistant to then head coach Bonnie Henrickson from 2007 to 2012. At KU, she managed daily office activities, including student managers and assistants, and oversaw coaches' travel and the program's special functions.

From 2005 to 2007, Leland was an intern for the University of Kansas Williams Educational Fund, serving as a liaison between coaches and teams with the WEF, while coordinating donor events.

As an undergraduate, Leland earned four letters on Kansas' rowing team, which won the 2003 Big XII Rowing Championship. She was also a four-time Athletics Scholar recipient. She was the rowing team representative on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. 

In 2016 Leland earned a Masters of Arts in Sports Administration from University of the Pacific. She graduated from Universithy of Kansas in 2005 with a degree in communications with a sports management emphasis. 

Her father, Ted Leland '70, '72 was a football player, coach. and two-time director of athletics at Pacific. He is also a Pacific Hall of Fame inductee.
