2010-11 (Sophomore):
Started all 31 games for Pacific at point guard and handed out 3.1 assists per game (96 total), sixth in the Big West. Averaged 6.5 points per game with seven games in double-figure scoring. Drained 47 three-pointers (1.5 per game, seventh in the Big West). Handed out a career-high 10 assists in the Tigers' win at UC Davis (Feb. 9), to go with 10 points for her first career double-double. Doled out three or more assists in 17 games, including eight games with five or more. Scored a season-high 14 points against Cal Poly (Jan. 6), and added 13 against UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 3) and UC Riverside (Feb. 26). Grabbed a season-high nine rebounds in the Tigers' Big West Quarterfinal win at UC Santa Barbara (Mar. 8). Averaged 3.8 assists with a 1.3 assist to turnover ration in Big West games. Shot .414 from three-point range in conference play.
2009-10 (Freshman):
Making a strong case for Big West Freshman of the Year last season, McKenzie established herself as the team's second-leading scorer both in overall and in conference play for Pacific. The freshman finished the regulation season averaging 8.9 points and per game with 70 total assists, and was a force from behind the three-point arc sinking almost half of Pacific's treys this year with 52 three-point shots. In Pacific's record books, that puts McKenzie just out of reach of the top 10 career three-point shooters, as she will look to break into the books her sophomore season with Pacific. Against Big West opponents, McKenzie averaged 9.8 points per game along with 40 assists and 34 treys. During three games this season Erica recorded six three-pointers to tie for the third-best single game three-point shooting performance in Pacific history. She did so against UC Santa Barbara (Jan. 9), at Sacramento State for a career-high 28 points (Feb. 13) and closed out the regulation season with six against Cal State Northridge on March 6. Upon conclusion of the 2009-10 season, the conference honored Erica on the All-Freshman Team. Â
High School:
A 2009 graduate of Reed High School in Sparks, Nev., McKenzie secured herself as one of the High Desert League's top guards during her high school career after earning all-league honors in each of her three varsity seasons. Her career culminated as a senior, when Erica finished with her fourth-consecutive trip to the state championship tournament, as the Raiders closed out the 2009 season as the Northern Nevada 4A Runner Up. Along the way to the post season, McKenzie led the the team on the floor with 18 points, five rebounds and seven assists per game. Her play netted her High Desert League Player of the Year honors as well as earning her the third first team all-league award of her career. In addition, McKenzie garnered first team all-region honors for the third consecutive season while also earning co-player of the year honors for the Northern 4A Region for the first time. In previous seasons, McKenzie improved her standing in the league as both a sophomore and junior as she earned first team honors both of those years, since being named a second team All-High Desert League player as a freshman. In addition to league recognition, McKenzie earned First Team All-Northern Nevada 4A Region honors as both a sophomore and junior. The floor general for the Raiders, Erica led her team to a 23-4 overall record as a sophomore and a perfect 12-0 mark in league play. As a junior, McKenzie and the Raiders continued their dominance of the High Desert League, posting a perfect 13-0 record in league play while again tallying 23 wins overall.
