Biography
2009 (Junior):
T.J. recorded one goal, four steals and five assists in 11 games for the Tigers. He notched his lone goal in Pacific's season opener against MIT at the MIT Invitational.
2008 (Sophomore):
T.J. appeared in four games for the Tigers in his first season at Pacific, scoring one goal on one attempt.
Junior College:
T.J. graduated from Solano Community College in 2008, in Fairfield, Calif., where he participated in water polo and swimming for the Falcons for one season. Achieving many accolades during his tenure at SCC, Friedman was named to the Junior College All-American Team in 2006, as well as earning All-Bay Valley Conference and All-Northern California honors.
High School:
Friedman graduated from Fairfield High School in Fairfield, Calif., where he was a seven-time letterwinner in swimming and water polo for the Falcons. T.J. was named to the All-Solano County Athletic Conference Team all three of his years on varsity water polo. In his senior season, Thomas was named Co-Most Valuable Player for the water polo team along with fellow Tiger transfer, Lance Morrison. Friedman was also named Section Most Valuable Player his senior year.
Personal:
T.J. Friedman is the son of Thomas Friedman and Robin Newhauser, and has five siblings; older brother Ronnie, and younger brothers Jeremy, Ryan, Anthony and Steven. In his third year at Pacific Thomas is studying sport sciences.
