Kendra Klein

Kendra Klein was named an assistant coach for Pacific men's and women's Water Polo on August 29, 2012, rejoining the Tigers after two years as a graduate assistant for the women's team in 2010 and 2011. After two years as assistant coach for both of the Tigers' programs, Klein turns her focus to the women's program effective in the 2015-16 season.

In her three seasons, she's helped the Tigers to a 46-43 record on the women’s side, including two of the top four seasons in Pacific history. In her three seasons, Pacific has racked up seven All-Conference women’s water polo awards, including GCC co-Player of the Year Anna Kertes.

As an assistant with the men’s program from 2012-14, Klein has helped the Tigers to a 50-29 record, including the 2013 MPSF Regular season title, and Pacific’s second-ever NCAA bid. The 2013 Tigers spent four weeks ranked No. 1 in 2013 and advanced to the NCAA National Title Game before falling in overtime.

As a graduate assistant, Klein helped lead Pacific's women's program to its first-ever conference title and 20-win season in 2010.

In the spring of 2012, she acted as head coach of the San Joaquin Delta College women's water polo team.

A two-year letter winner at CSU Northridge, Klein was her squad's captain in 2004 and helped guide the Matadors to a No. 15 national ranking. She also holds the school record for career drawn ejections with 98. Prior to CSUN, Klein spent two years at Santa Rose Junior College. A two-time All-America pick, Klein was named the Bay Valley Conference Player of the Year in 2001.

Klein graduated from CSU Northridge in 2005 with a degree in political science. She earned her master's degree in sport sciences from Pacific in 2012.
