2013-14 (Freshman):
Eric was 7-4 in singles action as a freshman and 0-1 in the dual match part of the schedule. He was 2-5 in doubles for the Tigers, teaming with Lance Ngo in fall tournaments.
High School:
Eric attended Los Gatos High School in Los Gatos, Calif., where he helped his team to a DeAnza League title in 2011 and to the league finals in 2013 ... He won the De Anza League Doubles title in 2011 with his partner Brenden Lum ... He was an All-De Anza League selection after last season.
Personal:
Eric is the son of Russell and Lauren Spence ... He was born in London, England, but currently lives in Los Gatos, Calif. ... He is a Business major in his first year at Pacific, with career plans of becoming an accountant ... In his free time he enjoys reading and watching movies.
