Sebastian Bromley

Most recently at Louisville, Bromley has an extensive coaching resume that includes Idaho State and Bellarmine, along with Top Gun Tennis Academy. Bromley has coached the nationally ranked doubles team of Aleksandar Petrovic/Patrik Trhac at Idaho State, who was ranked as high as #33 in the ITA doubles rankings. 

A skilled recruiter, Bromley was instrumental in helping Idaho State recruit the first-ranked class in program history as the Class of 2022 was ranked #22. Bromley coached multiple players that earned All Big Sky Conference honors, including singles players Trhac and Patrik Kristensen, and the Trhac/Petrovic doubles team.

Bromley is a Louisville native and came off a four-year playing career at North Carolina Central, where he competed from 2016-20. Bromley earned multiple ITA Scholar-Athlete awards and Academic All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference honors. In 2019-20, he received the “Coaches Award” for North Carolina Central men’s tennis. Bromley registered a 9-7 doubles record with Gabriel Cucalon as a sophomore, including a 9-2 output at No. 2 doubles and 3-1 mark in the MEAC Southern Division. He was a MEAC Championship participant in 2017 and 2018.

Bromley attended Bavel Virtual Learning in high school. In 2012, he was ranked 99th in the country by Tennis Recruiting. Bromley was ranked No. 1 in Kentucky for multiple years and cracked the top 10 in the USTA Southern Section rankings.

Bromley earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at North Carolina Central and carried a 3.5 GPA. He was a member of the Dean’s List and the International Honor Society of Psychology.
