Fall 2010 (Assistant Coach): Renan assumes the position of Assistant Coach. This is his first season.
Spring 2010 (Senior): Renan completed his senior season with a record of 9-10 and an overall record of 9-12. March 5th, Renan defeated No. 70 Jacob Straus of Marquette in three sets 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-3. On March 9th Delsin was recognized as the Big West Athlete of the Week and received honorable mention at the Big West Athlete of the Year Awards. April 17th Renan dominated No. 51 Ryan Mayer of UC Irvine in a two-set shut out, 6-0, 6-0. Renan began his doubles season with Karl-Erik Paaro and had a record of 1-1, and was later paired with Fernando Ristow and compiled a record of 11-6. Delsin ended his doubles season with a record of 12-7 and was selected to be on the 2nd team all conference with partner Ristow.
Fall 2008 (Junior):Delsin only competed in the Fresno State Bulldog Classic in singles play during the fall season. Going 0-2 in the tournament, his toughest match came in the consolation round against UC Santa Barbara's Taylor Chavez Goggin on Oct. 30. After dropping the first set 6-2, Delsin fought back to win the second set, 6-3, and force a deciding tie-break set. Both athletes battled back and forth until Goggin took the win 11-9.
Spring 2009 (Junior): Delsin finished the spring 2009 season with an 8-9 singles record. His play earned him All-Big West Second Team honors. Working primarily out of the No. 3 position, Delsin grabbed his biggest win of the season over No. 51 Utah's Othman Zerouali-Ouarti 6-2, 6-1 on March 15. He also took Rikus de Villiers of No. 44 Fresno State to match tie-breaker (6-0, 6-7, 8-6 [10-7]) before falling. Partnered with two-time Big West Player of the Year Moritz Starke, the pair amassed an 11-6 record in doubles play at the No. 1 position, going 3-3 against ranked opponents. On Feb. 15, the duo took down No. 74 Blake Strode and Matt Hogan of No. 55 Arkansas, 8-5, on the road. Their stellar performance all season long earned them First Team All-Conference Doubles honors.
Fall 2008 (Junior): Delsin did not compete in the fall 2008 tournament season.
Spring 2008 (Sophomore): Delsin finally was eligible to play for the Tigers after one full year on campus and did not disappoint in his debut. The sophomore compiled a 15-8 record in spring play which was good enough for the second-best of his teammates that term. He did the best from the No. 3 spot, finishing 8-3 and then completed a 7-5 stint in the No. 4 position. He found the best rhythm in doubles play partnered with Moritz Starke, as the two led the team with a 4-1 record from the No. 1 position at the conclusion of the spring season. Renan also saw time next to Artem Gramma (4-6), Austin Kakar (0-1), Chase Oliphant (0-1), Pedro Toledo (0-4) and Vegerd Veskimagi (0-1). For his spectacular conference performance, Delsin was awarded Big West second team singles honors.
Fall 2007 (Sophomore): Renan continued to fulfill NCAA residency requirements in the fall, as he did not compete in the tournament season.
Spring 2007 (Freshman):Delsin did not play in the spring of 2007 as he was fulfilling NCAA residency requirements after joining the team prior to the Spring 2006 season.
High School: Delsin graduated from Escola Dinamica High School in Floriamopolis-SC, Brazil, in 2005. His career high ATP Singles Ranking is 812, while his career-high ITF Junior Ranking is 93.
Personal: Renan Delsin was born in Leme - SP, Brazil and is the son of Ivan and Regina Delsin. He has one older sister, Ana. In his fourth year at Pacific, Renan is planning to major in business.
