Spring 2011(Senior): 
In his last season as a Tiger, Fernando compiled a finalcareer record of 39-20 in singles and 29-21 in doubles. Ristow'sspring record was 17-5 in singles and 12-12 in doubles. Some ofRistow's notable victories include his win against No. 40 CalPoly's Brian McPhee 6-3, 6-1, and at the Big West Championshipsagainst Cal Poly's Jordan Bridge in three sets 6-0, 2-6, 6-3. Atthe conclusion of the season, Fernando was selected to be on theSecond All Conference Team for singles.

Fall 2010(Senior): 
In the fall, Fernando compiled a fall tournament recordof 7-3 in singles and 3-0 in doubles with partner Ivan Castro. Somenotable victories Ristow earned in the fall included his three setwin against Saint Mary's College product Joakim Norstrom 6-4, 3-6,6-3, and his victory against No. 10 California's Jonathan Dahan6-1, 6-1. This year, Fernando was also selected to be the teamcaptain to lead the Tigers and serve as a model of goodsportsmanship and promote team unity.

Spring 2010(Junior): 
Fernando ended the season with a record of 10-9 in theSpring and compiled an overall record of 14-12. Ristow was alsochosen for 2nd Team All-Conference. On March 1st Fernando defeatedCal Poly's Jordan Bridge in three sets, 6-4, 2-6, 6-2. Ristow wasalso victorious against No. 51 Shimpei Suzuki of UC Irvine on April17th with the score 6-2, 5-7, 1-0 (4). Ristow competed early in thedoubles season with Vegerd Veskimagi and compiled a record of 2-3and was later paired with Renan Delsin compiling a record of 11-6.Fernando ended the season with an overall record of 14-10 and wasalso chosen to be on the 2nd Team All- Conference team with partnerDelsin.

Fall 2009(Junior): 
Ristow joined the Tigers in the fall of 2009 and finishedwith a 4-3 singles record, second best on the team. Despitestarting the season 1-3, Ristow rebounded at the UNLV Rebel Classicto sweep through the consolation rounds. After defeating NorthernArizona's David Flodberg 7-5, 6-3 in the semifinal's, Ristow facedStanislav Glukhov of Idaho in the consolation finals. He droppedthe first set 6-2 but rallied to win set two 6-2 and force a finaltie-break set. Outlasting Glukhov, Ristow earned the win 10-6 toclose his fall competitions. Partnered with Artem Gramma and VegerdVeskimagi, Ristow saw the most success in the latter pairing. Theduo finished with a team best 2-1 record with all of theiropponents coming from ranked teams. Their biggest upset came overNo. 43 Dmitry Lebedev and Matt Walters of No. 55. Arkansas (8-4) atthe UNLV Rebel Classic on Oct. 30 in the round of 64. They alsodefeated No. 24 Arizona's Geoff Embry and Pat Metham in thequarterfinals of the Rebel Classic 8-4 on Oct. 31, but would fallto host No. 73 UNLV's Luca Barlocchi and Mehdi Bouras in thesemifinals 8-4 later that day.

Previous School: 
While attending Bethel College, Ristow posted a 33-3record in two seasons of play and was named team most valuableplayer both seasons. In 2008-09, he was ranked as high as No. 4before ending the season at No. 13 of all NAIA athletes. Ristowwent undefeated in TranSouth Athletic Conference contests.

High School: 
Ristow graduated in 2005 from OPET - Bom Retiro inCuritiba, Parana', Brazil where he was ranked No. 1 in the statetwo years in-a-row (2005-2006). In 2006, he was ranked as high asNo. 4 in the nation in juniors.

Personal:
Fernando Ristow was born in Curitiba, Parana', Brazil. Heis the son of Mr. Irineu and Mrs. Ivete and has one brother, RenanAugusto Ristow. Fernando intends to major in business andeconomics. His hobbies include playing tennis and soccer andwatching movies.
