2017 (Senior):
Started in all 19 games at goalkeeper. Posted a 1.02 goals against average (20 goals in 19 games), the second-best in the West Coast Conference. Allowed 20 goals on 80 shots on goal for a .750 save percentage, the second-best mark in the WCC. Led the league in shutouts with seven. Won six-straight decisions from August 25 to September 10. Was in goal in Pacific''s second NCAA Tournament win in history against Cal State Fullerton. Took a shutout into penalty kicks against eventual national champions, Stanford, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Set a single-game career high against Stanford with nine saves. Played in back-to-back shutouts against Loyola - Marymount and Saint Mary''s. Went 286 minutes and 18 seconds without allowing a goal in a four-game stretch from August 27 to September 8.
2016 (Junior):
Started 17 games between the posts for the Tigers. Made 53 saves on the year, which was tied for the third-most in the West Coast Conference, and posted a stellar .779 save percentage to go with a 0.86 goals against average, which was the best in the WCC. Had six shutouts on the year, two of which came against WCC opponents. Recorded six-straight victories from games against Sacramento State (Sep. 4) to Cal State Fullerton (Sep. 25). Tied a career-high seven saves in the 3-2 win over San Francisco (Oct. 29). Pitched a clean sheet to help propel the Tigers past CSU Northridge (Nov. 17) to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Following the regular season Goldsmith was named to the WCC Second Team.
2015 (Sophomore):
Saw action in eleven games, nine of which were starts, for the Tigers. Made 41 saves and yielded a 1.81 goals against average, which was seventh-best in the WCC. Made a season-high seven saves in a 2-1 loss against Utah Valley (Sept. 4). Recorded a shutout while making five saves in a career-high 110 minutes of play against Santa Clara (Oct. 18). Posted two saves on two shots on goal while in relief against Loyola Marymount (Nov. 1).
2014 (Freshman):
Goldsmith appeared in two games for the Tigers, starting one. Logged 22:22 of relief against UC Riverside (August 29), recording a pair of saves. Made his first career start at Grand Canyon (Sept. 6) and posted six saves on 20 shots faced in a 3-2 loss to the Antelopes.
High School/Club:
Goldsmith joined the Tigers from Shingle Springs, Calif. Goldsmith is the starting goalkeeper for Sacramento United, joining fellow Pacific signee Spencer Vue on the 2011 Surf Cup champions and 2012 and 2013 Surf Cup finalist squads. On his high school team, Goldsmith was named the Defensive MVP and team captain for coach Greg Spangler''s Ponderosa High School Bruins.
Personal:
The son of Mark and Andrea Goldsmith, he has three older brothers; Aaron, Josh, and Brian. Goldsmith is a Business Administration, Economics major.
