2017 (Senior):
Appeared in 18 games and made one start against Gonzaga in the regular-season finale. Earned a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win over Gonzaga. Also had an asisst against Loyola - Marymount. Set a single-season career best in assists with two and tied his single-season high in goals with 1.
2016 (Junior):
Appeared in eleven games for Pacific. Bettencourt registered two shots on the year and logged appearances in eight-straight contests for the Orange and Black.
2015 (Sophomore):
The forward saw action in 13 games for the Tigers, starting in five. Bettencourt logged one goal, which came against Portland (Nov. 8), and one assist in the season-finale against Gonzaga (Nov. 14). The Elk Grove native also attempted ten shots on the year, nine of which came against conference opponents.
2014 (Freshman):
Bettencourt played in 12 games for the Tigers, starting once. He attempted two shots on the season, against San Jose State (Sept. 19) and against San Francisco (Nov. 13). Made his first collegiate start against UC Irvine (Aug. 31). Logged a season-high 36 minutes against San Francisco (Nov. 13).
High School/Club:
Bettencourt joined the Tigers from Cosumnes Oaks High School in Elk Grove, California. The forward was an All-Sierra Valley Conference honoree the last two seasons, earning SVC MVP accolades in 2013. He tallied 20 goals and eight assists last season, guiding the Wolfpack to the Sac-Joaquin Division-2 Section Championship in 2013. He also played club ball with FC Elk Grove.
Personal
The son of Jack and Lynda (Wills) Bettencourt, who was a softball player at Cal (and still ranks among the Bears leaders in triples and sacrifices). He has an older brother, Kyle, and older sister, Jennifer. Majoring in Psychology.
