Jordan Ferrell returns for his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Pacific men's soccer team in 2017.

In addition to working with Pacific's young talent on the field, Ferrell also coordinates recruiting efforts and has helped develop community initatives and grassroots marketing efforts for the Tigers in men's Division I  soccer's return to the San Joaquin County area. 

Ferrell helped the Tigers put together one of the best seasons in 2016 as the Orange and Black went 13-4-2 on the year including a NCAA Tournament second round appearance, which was the first in program history. Following the season, Ferrell and the rest of the Tiger the coaching staff was named the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division I Far West Region Staff of the Year. 

In July of 2015, Ferrell's Central Valley Monarchs Academy Warriors team captured the championship at San Diego's prestigous Surf Cup, widely considered the the nation's preeminent youth soccer tournament.

Prior to Pacific, Ferrell earned Coach of the Year honors as head coach of San Joaquin Delta College, in his season season at the helm after spending the 2011 as an assistant coach. He guided the Mustangs to their highest-ever finish in the Big 8, including a win over No. 2 American River. As an assistant with the program in 2011, Ferrell helped guide the Mustangs to their first-ever wins in Big 8 Conference play.

Ferrell was an All-League standout at forward for Lincoln High School in Stockton and captained his team to the SJAA championship in his senior season before making his move to CSU East Bay. At East Bay, Ferrell developed into a reliable utility player, starting 83 of his 88 collegiate matches and spending time at every field position. Finally settling in at sweeper, Ferrell won Defensive Player of the Year and First-Team All-Conference honors in his senior year. After graduating from CSU East Bay with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology in 2009, Ferrell moved to Germany where he began to split his time between playing and coaching.

Currently, Ferrell is working with the Central Valley Monarchs Academy as coach of U-15 and U-17 squads. He previously served as head coach of the Manteca Futbol Club U-17 Boca team in 2011-12, and was an assistant coach for the SG Quelle Furth U-17 in Bavaria, Germany in 2010.

Ferrell is currently working on his Master's Degree in Sport Pedagogy at Pacific.

In the summer of 2015, Ferrell married Pacific women's basketball assistant coach Amy VanHollebeke.
