University of the Pacific

Eddie Gonzalez is in his second season with the Tigers after joining Pacific in August of 2017.

Prior to Pacific, Gonzalez served as an assistant coach for Fresno Pacific. Under Gonzalez’s tutelage, the Sunbirds reached the postseason three times including back-to-back NCCAA National Championship appearances in 2012 and 2013. Was also an assistant coach for Fresno Fuego Futbol Club, of the USL Professional Developmental League Fourth Division. He currently holds a United States Soccer Federation B coaching license. A Fresno Pacific alumni himself, Gonzalez played for the Sunbird soccer program from 2006-09. The defender/midfielder was part of three NAIA Tournament teams and helped Fresno Pacific capture the 2007 Regional Championship. 

Following his collegiate career, Gonzalez also played one season with Club Deportivo Oro in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
