Andres Ochoa joined the Pacific staff in 2018 as a volunteer assistant and was promoted to assistant coach in early 2019.

Ochoa was one of the first players brought into the men's soccer program in 2014 and went on to play in 72 matches and make 68 starts. Ochoa is Pacific's career assists, games played and games started leader in the modern era with 12. He is also top-10 in; game-winning goals, goals scored, points per game, points, assists per game, shots attempted, shots on goal, shots on goal per game and minutes played.

Ochoa was a critical player in the rise of Pacific's program to national prominence as one of the first players to play for the Tigers in 2014, he helped lead the team to back-to-back NCAA Tournament births in 2016 and 2017.
