Biography

2019 (Senior)
Started 15 of the 16 matches he appeared in with two goals and four assists on a team-high 27 shots. Racked up a season-high six shots in a 1-0 win over CSU Bakersfield (9/16), scoring his second goal of the season over the Roadrunners. 

2018 (Junior)
Started in every game for the Tigers and was part of a back line that posted seven shutouts on the season. Scored three goals on the season, including the game-winner over UC Riverside in the first round of the NCAA Tournament (11/15). Also had three assists, nine points and three goals, all good for third on the team. Posted a season-high three points against San Jose State (9/16) when he scored a goal and assisted on another. Assisted on Jonathan Jimenez''s game-winning goal against UC Irvine (9/23). 

2017 (Sophomore)
One of six players to start in all 19 games for the Tigers in 2017. Tied for the team lead with six goals. Ranked in the top five in the West Coast Conference with three game-winning goals and six goals, and top 10 in the WCC with a team-high 14 points. Tallied a brace on a season-high five shots in a 3-1 win over San Diego (10/27) and recorded assists in back-to-back games against Gonzaga (11/11) and the Tigers' NCAA Tournament first round match with Cal State Fullerton (11/16).

2016 (Freshman)
One of two freshmen to start all 19 games for Pacific. Tied for third on the team with three goals and added three assists. Netted his first collegiate goal on his first shot in Pacific's 3-1 season-opening win over Drake (8/26) and scored the game-winner in a 2-1 win at Georgia State (10/2). Earned WCC All-Freshman Team honors and was ranked No. 75 on TopDrawer Soccer''s Top 100 Freshman Male postseason rankings. 

High School
Anthony Orendain is a 6-2 attacking player, from Watsonville, California. An All-Region Selection by Top Drawer Soccer in 2016, followed his recognition as a two-time first team all-conference nominee and All-CCS and All-State selection, along with being Watsonville’s 2016 player of the year. He scored 20 goals in his 69-game high school career. He also played club soccer for Santa Clara Sporting and ran cross country his senior year helping his team to the league title.
