Biography
2015-16 (Junior):
Earning All-WCC honorable mention honors for the second-straight season, T.J. played in and started 27 games for the Tigers as a junior. T.J. finished third on the team in scoring at 10.8 points per game while finishing second in rebounding at 5.3 rebounds per game. He was third on the team in assists with 2.4 per game while finishing first on the team in steals per game at 1.2 which placed him ninth in the WCC in thievery. Four times on the year T.J. led the team in scoring, but more impressively, from his guard spot, he led the team in rebounding in 12 different contests. He scored in double figures 13 times on the year, including a season-high 22 points against Pepperdine on Jan. 7.
2014-15 (Sophomore):
T.J. saw action in 29 games and recorded 27 starts during the 2014-15 season for the Tigers. Wallace earned All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention honors and All-Tournament honors at the Great Alaska Shootout after averaging 12.0 points and 6.3 rebounds over three games. Wallace scored a career-high 26 points against San Francisco on December 27. T.J. had a career-high six assists at Loyola Marymount on January 1. He had his second career double-double, with 24 points and 10 rebounds against Washington on November 23. He had his first double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds against Western Illinois on November 14. He had 19 double-digit scoring games this year and two double figure rebounding games.
2013-14 (Freshman):
T.J. was the Tigers'' returning leading scorer, averaging 7.0 points per game as a freshman. He also averaged 2.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. Playing in 32 games last year, Wallace made three starts for Pacific. He scored in double figures seven times in 2013-14, including a career-high 22 points in Pacific''s win at Loyola Marymount on Feb. 8. Wallace had a career-high seven rebounds against Santa Clara on March 6. He matched his then career high with 15 points at Pepperdine on Feb. 6. He scored 14 points to lead the Tigers against Bradley on Dec. 21. He made his first career start against Santa Clara on Jan. 11, scoring two points with four rebounds. T.J. earned all-tournament honors at the South Point Holiday Hoops Classic after scoring 24 points with five steals in two games. Wallace was one of the first Tigers off the bench is his career debut at Nevada on Nov. 8. He had three points with a pair of assists in the first game of his career.
Modesto Christian High School:
At Modesto Christian HS, T.J. earned First Team Modesto Bee All-District honors in 2012-13. He was selected to the All-Tournament Team at the Modesto Christian Holiday Tournament. He averaged 16.0 points and 8.5 rebounds as a senior in 2012-13.
High School:
T.J. was named the 2011-12 Most Valuable Player of the Tri-City Athletic League after averaging 19.7 points, 14.2 rebounds and 3.7 steals per game for McNair High School in Stockton. He also averaged 3.5 assists and 2.4 blocks per game. Wallace was also a Tri-City Athletic League First Team selection and was named The Record''s All-Area Player of the Year in both 2011 and 2012. He scored a career-high 37 points with 16 rebounds against River Valley High School on Dec. 16, 2011. It was one of three 30+ points games for Wallace.
Personal:
T.J. is the son of Jessica Smith and Thomas Wallace III. He has four sisters, Tanae, Tanice, Thomisha and Tionne. Wallace is a business administration major.
