Jerry Woods, a West Coast basketball specialist who most recently worked as the video coordinator and development coach for the NBA G-League Ignite, has joined the Pacific men’s basketball staff as the Creative Content and Video Coordinator, as announced by Head Coach Leonard Perry.
 
For the Ignite, Woods focused on player development and preparing the top high school freshmen for life in the NBA, both on and off the field.

Woods developed his passion for basketball as a high school player for the legendary coach Gene Potter at Jesuit High in Portland.
 
He served as a student manager for the basketball program at Loyola Marymount.
 
As a graduate assistant on the men’s basketball staff at Long Beach State, he worked with the basketball program as a video coordinator, participating in player development drills and various other duties.
 
Woods also has participated in conducting pre-draft summer workouts for the NBA in Oakland and Los Angeles.
 
Woods earned his bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount and his master’s degree from Long Beach State.
