Former Tiger Adam Jacobsen returns to Pacific for his 14th year as a coach at Pacific in 2014-15, and second year as Associate Head Coach. Jacobsen was an assistant coach for the Tigers during the 1999-2000 and 2000-01 seasons before returning to Pacific for the 2003-04 season.
Adam is the recruiting coordinator for the Tigers, and handles all details regarding equipment for the program. On the court, Adam is the offensive coordinator, and works on the development of the guards.
After leaving the Tigers following the 2000-01 season, he spent the next two years as head coach at his alma mater, Crescenta Valley High School in La Crescenta, Calif. He led his teams to records of 20-8 and 19-8 in two seasons, qualifying for the CIF playoffs in both 2001-02 and 2002-03. He was named All-Area Coach of the Year by the Glendale News Press after the 2002-03 season.
Jacobsen graduated from Pacific in 1997 with a degree in sport sciences. Jacobsen is the career three-point leader at both Pacific and in the Big West Conference with 311 three-pointers made. He is also the career assists leader (436) and second on the career steals list (160). With 1,513 career points, he is in sixth place on the career scoring list at Pacific, averaging 12.6 points per game over 120 games. When he graduated from Crescenta Valley High School in 1993, he was California's high school career three-point leader.
Adam and his wife, DeAnn, live in Stockton with their daughters, Presley and Ava and their son Luke.
