Biography
2014-15 (Junior):
Alec saw 31 games and 4 game starts for the Tigers during the 2014-15 season. Alec scored a career-high23 points against Cal State East Bay on December 3, hitting all five shots. He scored a then career-high 14 points against Colorado State on November 28. Kobre had a career-high five rebounds against Nevada on December 18. He had eight points at Western Illinois in the season opener, hitting his first two treys as a Tiger. He has five double figure scoring games on the year.
Junior College:
Alec Kobre, a 6-3 guard from Santa Rosa, Calif., joins the Tigers as a junior in 2014-15 after transferring from Santa Rosa Junior College. He helped lead the Bear Cubs to the California Community College Athletic Association State Tournament title with a team-high 17 points in the title game victory over San Bernardino Valley. Alec earned state tournament Most Valuable Player honors and was also named Honorable Mention All-State in 2013-14. Second on the team in scoring with 15.3 points per game, Alec led the team with 113 three-pointers on the year and was second in the state in treys made. He helped lead the Bear Cubs to a 12-2 mark in league games, earning All-League First Team honors as them team won the Big 8 Conference title. He attended Montgomery High School in Santa Rosa, where he was a standout for the Vikings.

Alec is the son of Kim and Shaw Kobre. He has one sibling, Rylan. He is currently majoring in education.
