Biography

2016 (Senior):
Saw action in 18 games, making one start. Took seven shots on the year and registered two multi-shot performances against Sacramento State (Sep. 4) and Santa Clara (Oct. 22). Logged an assist which came on the go-ahead goal in the 3-1 victory over Drake (Aug. 26). 

2015 (Junior):
Appeared in all 17 games for the Tigers, including five starts. The midfielder took 11 shots and recorded an assist in the victory against San Jose State (Sept. 13). De La Torre registered two shots in the contests against Sacramento State (Sept. 18), Portland (Nov. 8) and in the season finale against Gonzaga (Nov. 14). 

2014 (Sophomore):
Played in all 18 games and started 12 for the Tigers, with one goal and one assist. De La Torre scored his first Division I goal against Grand Canyon (Sept. 6) with a free kick from 30 yards out with a perfectly-placed shot to the upper right corner which earned him inclusion in the WCC Top Plays of the Week feature. Also picked up an assist against Portland (Nov. 7) when he found Alec Prusa in the box for the game-winning goal in the 83rd minute.

2012 & 2013 (Pacific Club Soccer)
De La Torre played two seasons on Pacific''s club team and was one of three players to earn a spot on the Division I squad when Pacific restarted the varsity program for 2014.

High School
Graduated from Olympian High School in Chula Vista, Calif. where he was First Team All-Mesa League as a senior with nine goals and five assists.

Personal
The son of Esteban and Diana De La Torre, Esteban has an older brother named Ernesto and an older sister named Erika. He is majoring in Political Science.
